MELT Student Ministries

Who - Melt Student Ministry is a vital part of Friendship Baptist Church.  Melt is made up of 6th grade through 12th grade teens who are interested in learning about Jesus Christ.  If you are a teenager who is on fire about God or is just a little curious about the whole Christianity thing . . . please come out and Join us.  Consider this a invitation.

What - What do we do?  Well we are constantly trying to grow in our relationship with God through studying His Word (the Bible).  We serve people in our community so that we can apply what we learn in the Bible study into real life.  We are also a witnessing group of teens.  As a group we share Christ with others, in our schools, at home, or even on the streets with perfect strangers.  We go to camp every summer to strengthen the lives in our group and our group as a whole.  We have so many activities to become involved with, so please come out and get plugged in. 

When - Sunday School - Sunday s at 9:30 am (Chocolate Milk, Doughnuts, Muffins, OJ, and the Gospel - What a combination!) .  Sunday Night - On Sunday nights we split our group up into two groups: a Teenage Girl group and a Teenage Guy group.  Here we talk about things that are relevant to the lives of our youth.  There is usually a meal provided, so come on and enjoy!  Wednesday Nights - On Wednesday nights we have a youth worship called "Ignite."  Doors open at 5:30 - Here in our youth room we will hangout and play pool football, talk, listen to music, and get ready for our youth worship that starts at 6:30.  We are usually done by 8:00.  Wednesday nights are a blast, so come have fun and worship our Great God

Where - All of our events will begin from Friendship Baptist Church.  We have a youth room that it is very exciting.  It is equipped with a pool table, ping pong table, big screen TV, coffee bar, lounge chairs, and much more.  If you need directions call Nick at (678) 516-1263.
